The Bottled Water Industry

As I examined this topic, many offshoots happened and I have links and videos resources on those topic that follow. This collection is by no means close to all of the topics that could be listed. The two videos, the documentary “Tapped” and “The Story of Bottled Water” cover many of these topics and I highly recommend that you view them.

Two of the more interesting topic to come-up during the investigation of this subject were “Water Cures” and the need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. Water cures came from the book,  “You’re not sick; you’re thirsty. Don’t treat thirst with medication.” by Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj.

I could not trace the Myth about the need to drink 8 glasses of water a day; it appears this comes from the bottled water industry.
